The City of Polo will be switching companies for your sanitation services. This will be effective September 1. 2024. Our new sanitation company will be Midwest Disposal.
The last day of service from Republic (formerly Moring Disposal) will be August 19th, 2024 for recycling pick-up. The last day of service for waste pick-up will be August 26h, 2024.
Please have your appropriate toters/carts out for pick-up on those days. Republic will be picking up your toters/carts and removing them on the days mentioned. Midwest Disposal will be dropping off replacement toters/carts before their first service day. Again, even if your toters/carts are empty, please have them out for pick-up so that they can be replaced.
Service Changes:
North of Dixon Street will be Tuesday pick-up for both waste and recycling.
South of Dixon Street will be Wednesday pick-up for both waste and recycling.

Due to the observance of the Labor Day holiday, the first waste and recycling pick-up will be delayed by one day. Pick-up will be on Wednesday and Thursday of that week.
